Hi, any views on Executive program from XLRI, is 6 month course worth doing and what difference does it make? thanks
a
Hi @Raksha Tak, Do a 6 month internship instead. Work experience > 6 month course Degree
r
Hey thanks, just trying to decide between 6 month and 1 year course, any personal experience with 6 month internship, thanks
s
Raksha, what are you interested in studying and what do you expect to gain from the course?
a
Hey, I and @Raksha Tak were planning this course, Ideally, overall HR like Recruitment to talent management, XLRI Course fee are huge couldn't decide whether its adding any value to our day to day work, Does this course will give any extra knowledge to us, considering both of us have 8+ yrs of work experience in HR along with MBA
s
I'd suggest staying away from short-term certificate courses - quite often, they're anchored away from reality and are just not worth the price (unless facilitated by an industry practitioner)

Any one in group, who has completed this XLRI course and can give their prompt feedback?
s
Better options: • if you can find a short course from the creator economy on LinkedIn or elsewhere • internships, as suggested above • AMA sessions or tips and tricks shared by folks here

@Anupama I agree with you on this, since quite some time I am also looking for a certificate course as I am looking for a job change. But it seems 6 months internship sounds more doable and practical. Any idea or recommendation for the same in market research category or data analytics

Hi @Mayuri Raja, data analytics is very much in demand these days. Many product based companies have openings for data analytics role. I know people who've learnt data analysis from free online courses and are now currently working in product based companies/startups.
