Hi , I am stuck with a situation of paid leave. There is one employee in our office who is not from Delhi & went to her hometown for voting purposes. Now she is demanding that voting leave should be a paid one. Kindly let me know if this is a paid leave or not as per the compliance. Thanks in advance for help!! Regards, Shivanshi Khanna

If an employee is eligible to vote in any state and travels to exercise their right to vote, it should be treated as a paid leave and not be deducted from the leave balance

All points mentioned above are valid, but make sure you check that she has casted her vote. It should not be the case, that she has not casted the vote and you have given her a leave

I believe as a matured employer, we should trust our team members and not micro manage.
