We struggled to get quotes from insurance companies when we were just 6 employees, as they wanted at least 15 lives to be insured. It might have changed now. You may need to check with the insurance companies.

@medhya sinha In case you are looking for an individual insurance for employees, you may can start at 1. However, if you are looking for corporate group insurance, some new insurers give it at 5-7. If required, I am happy to share the brokers details through which i have been taking corporate insurance (group and individual) for last 8 years.
