@channel Hi folks, has anyone tried reimbursements for employee's personal health insurance plans instead of going for a group health cover? Any tech platforms/firms that can help with this? I remember someone had mentioned this earlier, but unable to trace the thread

How will this help? Group health is cheaper than personal cover

Group cover has more features and benefits and will be cheaper. Would suggest to go for group medical instead of reimbursing employee's personal insurance.

So for us it has reached a point where we are spending 5-6x of individual premium per employee. This has also been due to a high claims ratio ~140%

@Richa Gupta I have done it at the start of my firm previously. The reimbursement can be done via any employee expense platform, like Zoho Expense. Or else, a broker can manage the purchase and record keeping too.
