Can anyone of you help me and confirm if there is any minimum basic pay limit for Pvt companies as per Karnataka state govt. Via some internal sources, i have got to know it's around INR 16254 minimum basic pay (in order to avoid ESIC) but can anyone confirm if it is correct or not?

05/08/2023, 5:32 AMHi Riya, Minimum Basic Pay in Karnataka as per norm is Rs.15,000/month. To avoid ESIC, the Monthly salary should be above Rs. 21,000/-. Hope this helps. Thanks.
