@Jisha Abraham F&F is calculated from the employee’s last day of work.

So let's say if an employee resigns on the 15th of the month with 15 days notice period. So they will get the salary in that month or not?
w
@Jisha Abraham It is dependent on how quickly you can calculate the employee’s F&F settlement value and obtain approval from the employee.
h
@Jisha Abraham If your appointment letter says that you will do the F&F after 45 days then the employee will get the F&F after 45 days from the last day of working. But Being a company, it can be released earlier than that in some special cases (that differ from co. to co.)

@Jisha Abraham F&F is paid within 15 days of the last day of work if the last day is next month, or with the salary of the month if the last day is prior to the salary release date, according to best practices and the companies I’ve worked for.

@Jisha Abraham you might want to also look at the update on settlement of F&F as per the revised wage code. https://www.india.com/business/salary-full-and-final-settlement-new-wage-code-last-[…]may-receive-fnf-within-two-days-new-labour-codes-2022-5484505/
