My guess is that Stacker's created by field needs to see and write to a text field. It can't write the name to a linked field (in the background airtable is writing a unique identifier to a column, and not the name directly).

@rapid-state-99797 thank you, but I don’t think that is the case. I’ve gotten this functionality to work before with linked records. An example would be a task list where the user creates a new task. The Created By field will automatically populate the “owner” of the task based on the user profile that is logged in rather than the user having to select themselves each time they add task.

@ripe-book-6760 It looks like you’ve opened multiple threads about this, as well as a support ticket. Considering we have most information about this in a ticket, we’ll follow-up there as soon as we have a solution. 🙂
