Roles are just a way to easily assign permissions to a group of end users automatically using a filter. The simplest form of this is having a “role” field in the user table and assigning a role to each individual user based on the contents of that field in their record. Correct. That’s just part of the Admin UI. So unless they’re an Admin in the app or you give them access to the field that determines their role and it uses the same terminology, it won’t be visible to them.
