Hi @rich-france-14624, you can use the field widget and start it in collapsed mode. Under edit layout, select the Field widget, select Options and check the box for Allow sections to collapse and expand and start collapsed. If you change the name of the Section, this will be the title that shows when collapsed. You can then set a conditional visibility filter for the role that can see this field widget. Hope this helps! Someone may have another workaround for you as well 🙂

Thanks @silly-pharmacist-44942. I implemented that already. But don't want to sacrifice the integrity of layout - hoping to have field level control. Will hope someone else has a suggestion.

Certainly possible using custom JS/CSS.
