@late-zoo-2151 I have a few tricks for that, but nothing simple, unfortunately. Depending on the use case, it might require some JS custom code (Stacker Pro plan required).

Could you use a 'created by' column and capture the information that way? https://support.stackerhq.com/hc/en-us/articles/4412328252563-Created-By-Field

oh it's an embedded form 😐 probably not then w/o some js ^

Yeah, that’s the only simple solution for this. But doesn’t always work

@sticky-night-20812 interesting. We are on the Pro Plan (not enterprise) so maybe there's a way. We are really loving this embedded form method - since we can do all sorts of creative things with the inputed data prior to it going to airtable/backend....but not knowing who's creating the entry is problematic, as you can imagine. I have some work arounds, but if you'd be willing to share, I'm all ears!
@rapid-state-99797 thank you but you are correct - custom scripts required here. We very much dislike the "Add New" forms. They are limiting and writing to stacker/airtable tables makes using/calculating/manipulating the data difficult...if not slow. thanks for the thoughts tho!

May I ask what product you are using to create and embed the form?
l
We are using cognito forms

@late-zoo-2151 I’m assuming you don’t want them to submit the email into the form that they are signed up with?
l
Correct. Free form leaves room for errors and "mis assigned" entries. Drop down is not an option. Can't expose other users. I think I may have solved it though. A bit clunky....but it works!
Basically - I am using the traditional "add new" to capture user then relying on a relationship between Stacker, Zapier, Cognito Forms to accomplish what we needed to do!

Congrats. That was an intense workaround. I thought I had a solution for you to hide others in the pulldown but it would require already having the user email. Best wishes Tuesday.

Super impressive @late-zoo-2151!
