Hi guys, i’m facing a strange behaviour with a sample rails 6.1 app and solidus 3. I had initially installed only
solidus_core
gem and declare the mount in the
routes.rb
file but, when i add the
solidus_backend
gem, without mounting it, it declares all the
/admin
routes. It is a desidered behaviour? I’m searching the codebase of solidus to find the automount of the backend engine but i cannot find it. Any advice will be appreciated 🙏
To be more specific i had only mount the core engine as docs:
Copy code
mount Spree::Core::Engine, at: '/'

Yeah, that's how it works. If I remember correctly, the other parts of Solidus (and many extensions) just draw their routes into Solidus's routes.
It makes a bunch of stuff a lot simpler, so I'm not sure there's a reasonable way to avoid that.
I think this is a wrong behaviour because i want to chose if i want mount the api engine or the backend engine. With this solidus gem is too much magical to be out of control easely

If you don't want backend, then don't require it. I don't see the issue.
