Thanks for tagging me @so16. I'll look through relevant sources and get back to you shortly.
### Answer Since your
allowed_outbound_country_list
already includes "IL", the issue is likely on the Twilio side. [(1) ]() For Retell-Twilio numbers, you need to ensure international dialing permissions are enabled in your Twilio account. Specifically, search for "geo" in Twilio to find the "Voice Geographic Permissions" setting and enable Israel there. The
allowed_outbound_country_list
in Retell controls which countries Retell will allow, but your underlying telephony provider (Twilio) must also support calls to those destinations. Steps to resolve: 1. Log into your Twilio account 2. Navigate to Voice Geographic Permissions (search "geo") 3. Enable Israel (+972) in the permissions 4. Retry your outbound call If you've already confirmed Twilio geo permissions are enabled for Israel and still experience issues, you may need to reach out to Retell support directly: - Visit [Contact Sales]() - Visit [) Would you like a general answer based on my knowledge if this doesn't resolve your issue?

@AI Evy How creating a new phone number from retell sdk that will work with twilio for outbound call in israel

Thanks for the follow-up, @so16. I'll get back to you soon.
### Answer To create a phone number via the Retell SDK that works with Twilio for outbound calls to Israel, you can use the Create Phone Number API and specify the
allowed_outbound_country_list
parameter to include "IL". [(1) ]() Here's how to do it with the JavaScript SDK:
Copy code
javascript
import Retell from 'retell-sdk';
const client = new Retell({
  apiKey: 'YOUR_RETELL_API_KEY',
}) ;
const phoneNumberResponse = await client.phoneNumber.create() ;
console.log(phoneNumberResponse.inbound_agent_id) ;
When creating the number, you can include these parameters in the request body: - **`number_provider`**: Set to
"twilio"
(default) - **`allowed_outbound_country_list`**: Include
["IL"]
or other countries you need - **`area_code`**: A 3-digit US area code (currently only US area codes are supported for purchasing) **Important**: The
allowed_outbound_country_list
parameter controls which countries Retell will allow for outbound calls. However, as noted in your previous thread, you must also enable Israel in your Twilio account's Voice Geographic Permissions. The Retell setting alone isn't sufficient—your underlying telephony provider (Twilio) must also permit calls to that destination. [(2) ]() To enable Israel in Twilio: 1. Search "geo" in Twilio to find "Voice Geographic Permissions" 2. Select the countries you want to dial
