unsuccessful calls

Hi Retell team, I’m trying to set up an alert system that sends me an email every time a call is unsuccessful. From the Create Alert screen (see screenshot), I see options like: Metric Condition: Number of Calls / Chats Optional disconnection reasons Thresholds (e.g. “when sum is above X”) View by / Notify frequency Email or webhook notifications My goal is very simple: Receive an email notification for each single unsuccessful call (failed / dropped / error / abnormal termination), ideally in near real-time. Could you please clarify: Which metric and disconnection reason(s) I should select to reliably capture all unsuccessful calls? Whether it’s possible to trigger the alert per single call (e.g. threshold = 1), instead of aggregated spikes over a time window? If there is a recommended best practice (email vs webhook) for real-time failure monitoring? If needed, I’m also happy to use webhooks and handle the logic on my side, but I want to be sure I’m tracking the correct failure signals. Thanks a lot for the support! 🙏 https://cdn.discordapp.com/attachments/1463493607372750858/1463493607553237026/Screenshot_2026-01-21_alle_12.17.32.png?ex=69720822&is=6970b6a2&hm=b56ec6daf23b2a91e9a67a746feab3967352616196f0e21b01c4302d3bbfbdaa&

Hi @Matteo
Use the "Call Count" metric with the Disconnection Reason Filter. To capture all unsuccessful calls, filter by disconnection reasons
The full list is here
The alerting system only supports 1-minute aggregated metrics, so even with a threshold of 1 it cannot provide true per-call real-time alerts.
Webhooks are recommended for true per-call, near real-time notifications.
