01/12/2026, 10:17 AMHi there I would like to report an issue with custom functions in Conversational flow agents when during real time call the next node doesn't start immediately but waits 6-10 seconds. I need urgent help with that as workaround becomes only thing I do with Retell cause basic stuff doesn't seem to be working.

01/12/2026, 1:03 PM@Shehroze -Support @Retell both are off, I just need trigger a function and move on, where I will use data from that function after few next node, However it doesn move and stay. Just to prove that is nothing to do with two converasional nodes I unlinked function node and connected dirreclty to next node and there was no delay. So Custom funcion with both "Wait for Result" , "Speak During Execution" off actually cause a delay.

01/13/2026, 9:45 AMI need immediate transitions and 'Speak During Execution' is Off and 'Wait for Result' is Off. But even with this configuration, the node 'waits' for some sort of response and doesn't move to the next node until it gets it. So theoretically it should move, but practically it stays until a response.
Extra:, workaround where I need to insert some text "Speak During Execution" == On to fulfill the silence is not ideal, actually, I should say its not accepted at all. And I believe that Retell could do better in this case.
because of such nonsenses I shifted entire conversation AI from Bland to Retell but now it feels I will need to shit once again but this time to 11Labs.
