does anyone know how to make a "cancel appointment" tool using retell? or can i not?
i'm trying to make all my functions using retell instead of intergrating n8n and stuff, unless it's not possible to use retell/cal.com for everything

from my understanding it's not psosible, you need n8n or make.com

You can try this 
 - Make a function to fetch the user's appointments using cal.com API
- Ask the user which appointment he wants to cancel 
- Extract the appointment id 
- Make a function to cancel the appointment using cal.com api

i'm going to try this as well, just finished implmenting the availability and booking functions, now would like to see if i cna reschedule and cancel bookings easily, let me know if you make progress :)

i'll just have to use n8n for some of my custom functions

my booking stopped working though, it needs an ai number? idk if that means i need to assign a number to my agent now

Can you explain what do you mean it needs an AI number, and share the call id that have this issue

i don't have a call ID, i was using the chat thing

On your event on cal.com , make it book with the email not the phone number , and don't make the aiAgetnCallPHoneNumber required.

i might need to make a new event, it won't allow me to disable that field, it's required
