I've seen some teachers streaming their iPad screens for live classes. Basically illustrations drawn in a note-taking app using Apple Pencil are displayed live. How can I do that? Do I need some special dongle?

May be they join same meeting from iPad again and do screenshare? 🤔

You can connect the iPad to a mac, open Quicktime

New Movie Recording

click on the chevron next to the record button

select the iPad as the video source

Share the quicktime window in your video call.

Don't have a Mac. 😭 Anything for Windows?

IIRC, Google meet allows screen sharing on iPadOS.

We use Notability app on iPad + Zoom. Airplay for screen share. Works on Zoom + Mac. Not sure about windows.
