Take a 2 year subscription. 3. Once you’ve got a subscription, you’ll get an email ID as username@acm.org. 4. You can use this to read a lot of ACM papers that are really really brilliant. But, now starts the fun part: The ACM subscription gives you access to the entire O’Reilly digital bookshelf for the period of your subscription. Install the O’Reilly app on your phone / tablet / wherever, login using your ACM email ID from step 3 above and go through the entire gamut of safari and O’Reilly ecosystem. Benefit. Enjoy. When I chose to buy a two year membership, the price turns out to be 3000 plus taxes. Am I at the wrong page?

Yes. The ACM membership lets me read some really really deep research papers. I get webinar invites with people that have done some awesome research in the field of computer science. And yes, Books are always your best friend.
