I love memoirs. You're literally in their minds, learning how they feel, think and react at pivotal moments that made them who they are. These are my Top 3️⃣ 1. Can't Hurt Me - You learn about how he was able to push through and do these and the mindset he uses. This guy is one hard motherfcuker “You are in danger of living a life so comfortable and soft, that you will die without ever realizing your true potential.” 2. Revolution in the Valley - Andy Hertzfeld tells the awesome story of how the groundbreaking Macintosh computer was born. Jobs is there too but this is about the people who worked behind the scenes to make it happen. If you love startups, do read. 3. Shoe Dog - Phil Knight shares his incredible journey of how he started Nike. from a poor college kid who loves to run and the ups and downs he faced to build Nike as it is now. do you guys have any other suggestions?

Can't Hurt Me is so much better in the audiobook version. Would recommend it over the book!

+100 on @bulky-london-83323 , it's the best book I've heard, pondered, used, cried, understood profoundly and applied in certain areas of my life too @rich-forest-54134 Are #2, #3 good audiobooks too or reading versions?

@bulky-london-83323 damm, I didn't know that, but david goggins is narrating it right, listening to this will be like pep talk from goggins himself 😂 , thanks for the suggestion!

nope, it's someone else and then david discusses each chapter at the end, it's like a book + podcast + live convo w/ david

@swift-pilot-25722 Shoe dog has one, but I haven't heard it, so don't know if its good.

ohh, I see, bummer 😕

I think it's David's close friend who is narrating it, but David is sitting next to him while he's narrating. They did this over 2-3 days in their studio. And every once in a while the narrator asks David some personal questions and they start a mini discussion. It's totally worth it as it adds so much more context than the book provides. This is definitely one of the best Audiobooks I've listened to (multiple times) 🙏

Talking of memoirs, I enjoyed “Ride of a Lifetime” by Robert Igor. It’s about his journey climbing the corporate ladder from the absolute bottom (help boy) to the CEO of Disney, and how that panned out.

@creamy-bird-1828 Do you think the book had a lot of corporate jargon etc?
