Has anybody tried digital minimalism? I feel like every waking moment of mine is spent watching/listening to a video/podcast. Browsing Twitter/Instagram/Slack/reddit

Yes, I have. I took steps to reduce my screen time a few years ago. Do you have any specific questions?

I have a bit. I've disabled all notifications on my phone other than SMS (for OTP) and call (obviously). It was a big difference for me. Worth trying out.

Suffering from the same problem 😅

I also did the same @clever-salesclerk-88021 and it was game changer for me. @gray-beach-48055 Also, remove all the app from home screen and put in some nested folder. Adding friction to access the app directly also helped me to avoid it most of the times.

I've been using "minimalist phone: Productivity" app launcher on Android for a while. It has helped quite a lot.

I have, no email (even personal) on phone, for emergencies I use email via mobile browser Only notifications are calls, no whatsapp, sms notifications etc. Happy to help if you have any specific questions 🙂

Yes, I have, thanks to the book Digital Minimalism by Cal Newport. No social media apps on phone, use fewer apps(installed <50) if require then use from the browser.

One additional thing that I did apart from above was to use analog ways of taking notes. I used the Bullet Journaling method for organisation and Indexed notebooks (makes discovery / finding easier) for long form writing
m
What app did u use for the same?
b
Physical Notebooks and Pens - no apps.
