Anyone else disappointed in what Flipkart turned out to be? The app and the website is full of bugs, and the delivery & support experience is mediocre at best. I expected better from India’s second largest e-commerce

Flipkart, instead of making services better, went the other direction after Amazon showed up here. Now I only buy from there when the thing isn’t available on Amazon (and is Flipkart Assured)

Exactly. Before Amazon came around, I remember their service being commendable and they were also actively engaging in the tech community and improving their app + website experience. Now their app feels like someone’s college project

Customer support also sucks. Pissed me off last time when I had to purchase a phone.

for me flipkart = soap bar in iphone box. I don't trust it.

Friend had that experience with Amazon 😬

Lol, luckily I never had any issues with Amazon. 🤞

Tbh, even Amazon is heading in the same direction with all the cluttered garbage of spin wheels, jackpots and other stupid content that does not have anything to do with shopping. This is what happens when you lose focus of the core idea and have Product Managers pushing for stupid stuff like consistent engagement, gamification and other garbage ideas from social media platforms.

Flipkart Search was so good in the early days. It’s so broken nowadays. Typical example of how it’s easier to get to the top than to remain at top.

I so agree! I have been regularly receiving used products which are marked as "Amazon Prime". Unbelievably, recently I ordered a book for my son (again Prime), and received a book with another child's name written on it. On the other hand, my experience with Flipkart, though mediocre, hasn't been as bad.

Sometime, offline purchase is cheaper and quicker for me, only downside is no replacement and no bills.
