Do you know of a product where the sales or account managers place orders on behalf of single or multiple clients?

Hey guys, wasnt been active for quite some time. Just came across this yesterday at Product Hunt - https://startinfinity.com/?ref=producthunt. Pricing is at LTM $99 for 1 workspace and 10 collabs. Anyone know this app? Thinking of getting it but still the pricing seems too good to be true.

    ## 📝 Notes on last week's social mixer Last Saturday, we had 8 members participate in a format wherein we used breakout rooms in Zoom to facilitate 1:1 conversations within the community. Wanted to iterate on this experiment by thinking aloud. Thanks to @broad-tailor-48828 for some of the points below.
Pretty exhausting to re-introduce yourself to people multiple times in the same session
I felt the same. As an introvert it was pretty intense to have two back-to-back conversations. Next time we'll have an intro session at the top of the call for all participants to introduce themselves. And maybe have only one round after the intro.
Participants to provide a list of topics they’d like to discuss, 2 work related, 2 non-work related (prior to the meet). It can be tricky connecting relative strangers when nobody knows what the others are into.
We can try adding a question to the zoom registration form to get your interests. My only worry is what to do if there is a no-show. That would require rematching the candidates again. That's why I'd like to stick to the serendipity of random matching for now. --- If you have any suggestions, please do reply in the thread 🙏

Folks, any recommendations for good erganomic chair for computer programmers? Something I can get shipped to my place?, I live in Chennai. I used to work from my coworking space which had decent setup, but due to this pandemic, I am sure its not worth back there for atleast till end of the year if I can work from home. I have seen some chairs in Amazon, but if there are some indie companies outside, let me know 🙂 Budget is 15-20K.

Hello everyone! I’ve seen a lot of coding bootcamps that having job guarantees and ISAs floating around. Does anyone know of anything similar that exists for a UI/UX bootcamp that’d have the same things for a student in India? I’ve noticed Springboard is one but are there any other alternatives?

This might have been asked, but any latest recommendations on a monitor + keyboard and mouse setup - want a silent one actually, not the loud mechanical ones for keyboard (hate noise) Using a logitech silent mouse and it's so smooth https://www.logitech.com/en-us/product/m330-silent-plus For monitor, need a single one and not more than 20-25 inches

Does anyone know a better solution to store username and password on disk in Android? I did some research and got these options. 1. Directly save in SharedPref. (Some suggested it’s not safe. It can be easily read in the rooted device).  2. Encrypted the credentials before storing in SharedPreference. https://stackoverflow.com/a/23790446/5301119. (I am not sure how will encryption secure more. It seems like the same problem as above point #1) 3. Not save credentials on disk. Use the OAuth mechanism which will handle by the backend. (I don’t have any backend. I am using firebase). https://stackoverflow.com/questions/9233035/best-option-to-store-username-and-password-in-android-app If anyone can suggest a better approach it will be really helpful. Thank you.

SpaceX software teams AMA in reddit is so dope. Their usage of so called boring languages(C, C++), simple design and level of testing/simulations they have to go through to make their code work in space right in first try itself is really amazing. https://old.reddit.com/r/spacex/comments/gxb7j1/we_are_the_spacex_software_team_ask_us_anything/

Hello everyone, this is my first post. I’m new to remote working (Async) and wanted to enquire about a recruitment agency “*Emerson Croft*”. I can’t seem to find any information about it’s team or leadership. Does anyone know about it or have worked with them?

Hello everyone, how do you create a project pipeline as a solo freelancer? If you have an agency or company, you can keep having discovery calls with leads, on board a project, can hire people. But as a solo person, how do you create your pipeline? Are there any ways?, or only way is to create enough runway and hunt for next project once the current work is over. One thing I do: Even though I know that I won't take a project from someone, I will always setup a call to understand what people want, I give them free consulting and refer them to my friends/other freelancers, this helps me to build a relationship with lead as well as that freelancer who will hopefully keep me in mind in case if something comes up when I am available 😄

🚨 Hello Tribe, @alert-flag-60587 wants a 15 min zoom call with anyone who has consulted for US clients.  ## What exactly does he need help with? He is negotiating an offer with a US based recruitment agency. He knows the salaries of Indian & US researchers of his experience level, but needs help with the proposal.  He needs advice on how to construct the outline of his salary expectation (Inclusions & exclusions) as a full time consultant.
Since my consultant contract has zero benefits such as someone on FE payroll, how much should be my consultant  per hour rate over FE employee
⌛️ Kind of urgent as he has to share his expectations by today evening.
