I've been on this, got to listen the conf call on tax, so have few things to share. Some points .. ( with IANAL disclaimer ) 0. incometax has very good java based forms, on which you can play around and file from https://www.incometaxindiaefiling.gov.in/downloads/incomeTaxReturnUtilities?lang=eng 1. on services, the GST limit seems to be 20 lakh (https://www.moneylife.in/article/9-facts-you-must-know-about-the-new-gst-limit-of-rs40-lakh/56112.html) 2. you can claim house rent 5K per annum, under section 80GG https://cleartax.in/s/claim-deduction-under-section-80gg-for-rent-paid/ 3. reg. foreign money coming in Rs vs $$, i've read a that there is a circular around feb 2019, which has made $->Re conversion at source allowed, but i counldn't find it. And now for my question: --> can i just file my return as salary (paying max allowed tax !! ) , and be free from all headaches ?

@all @channel does anyone know if a consultant contract in India needs to include/exclude some specific phrases/words? this is from a legal perspective, such that taxes are filed directly by the consultant (in the form of advance tax), and not by the employer.

what are the current trends, challenges, opportunities in smartphone with ever changing front camera setup. I was browsing some smartphones online when I realised that companies are changing/adapting to new techniques on front camera setup and its positioning. Recent one’s I notice are - 1. Eye drop kind of front camera notch on the top centre like in most of the smartphones e.g Oppo, Vivo and samsung etc. 2. Front camera in proper circle on left top corner 3. Front camera sliding up from the top centre edge 4. and latest I read is - Asus launches mobile with motorised FlipUp( not popup) camera Some reason for this shift seems clear , like making a obstruction free display, avoiding mechanical movement of the camera hardware etc .. I’m sure people here will have comments or good resources to shed some light on this change. For designers, it is usually a challenge to quickly adapt to these changing screen setup, to design interfaces accordingly.
