03/25/2019, 7:37 AMWhat do they do ?Upekkha is a Catalyst that help founders build Value SaaS business. They run outcome based program for SaaS founders by providing mentorship and advice, network and community.
Why am I doing this ?This is an experiment to do something different from programming. Itβs an opportunity to learn businessy stuff as there should be a fast flow of ideas in this setup. Also I love their work and want to help them in some way. --- This role is totally out of my comfort zone. Wish me good luck π Have a glorious week everyone π

03/26/2019, 7:50 AMNapping is another perfect example of the importance of timing. A good nap can be a wonderful thing, but if the only available time to nap is an hour before bedtime, a nap would do you little good. You need to control the order and timing of things to be happy.
Itβs important to look at happiness in terms of timing because timing is easier to control than resources.
Itβs hard to become rich enough to buy your own private island but, relatively speaking, itβs easier to find a job with flexible hours. A person with a flexible schedule and average resources will be happier than a rich person who has everything except a flexible schedule. Step one in your search for happiness is to continually work toward having control of your schedule.- Scott Adams, How to Fail at Almost Everything and Still Win Big ππΌββοΈ Agree wholeheartedly !! What's your take on this π€

04/04/2019, 12:04 PMA short note on a conundrum I faced recentlyLast Saturday, I went for a family vacation πποΈ because my brother had some leaves allotted suddenly. And a family trip hadn't happened in a long time. I thought - I can work from anywhere. Right π First day (Monday) was ok. But then on Tuesday, I couldn't ship much and felt really guilty. Finally I informed my bosses that I am taking a couple of days off and they were cool with it. Now I am back in my den, I have a ton of questions in my head π€― How do we get over this worry ? What are the best channels to be transparent about this ? How do we create boundaries between work and vacation ? Could this event be classified only as a communication failure ? P.S. I have faced this conundrum many times before. And I have always done a bad job at handling this. So I want to get better.
