Hi everyone, I was thinking of getting a good medical insurance. I'm looking for something that: 1. Covers hospital expenses + treatment costs for serious illnesses. 2. Coverage for modern medicine & tech only, no AYUSH. The 2nd point has been my single biggest gripe with insurances. Most that i come across have a combo of regular hospitals + AYUSH facilities which I don't prefer. Even if I need to pay a higher premium, I'd rather they be utilised to cover costs in the best hospitals only, & not for alternative treatments to be included in the plan.
