    Has anyone implemented read replicas for mongodb or postgreSQL? I have a website which will have sudden spikes in traffic just for 15-20min and then back to normal traffic so in such cases I was trying to implement read replicas if traffic increases significantly. One more point is I know already at what time this sudden traffic spike will happen so in such cases can I deploy read replicas to overcome any failures in that time frame? If yes then can someone suggest how can this be done?

    Has anyone tried using a raspberry pi 4 as a Wi-Fi router? Any pros/cons that you would like to share? I am thinking of setting up something at the network level to selectively block websites (something like the freedom app or stayFocused). DD-WRT should do most of it but I was thinking if it was on a rpi4 it could be made more flexible to do timeout-based blocking.

    While applying to remote jobs there's a filter for full time or contract jobs , 1. is the contract jobs is equivalent to independent contractor from outside the country ? 2. Can a person from India apply to US/EU/CA only jobs as an independent contractor if he finds the job in full time filter adhering that he may receive less salary/benefits compared to what's given in the JD .

    Hey guys! I've bought MBP 16" two weeks back, and I am used to work on it for hours. While using it after an hour my palms really gets sweaty, is there any palm rest or something anyone has been using? Any other suggestions for that, I do have external keyboard and mouse but that is attached to my PC so I used to work with the trackpad and keyboard itslef. Do suggest some mac specific keyboard!
