I am a little frustrated about having to pay for a product in dollars. I am starting a small business and wish to use Basecamp to manage tasks around it. I also teach a niece and a nephew programming regularly, we communicate through WhatsApp and would love to switch to Basecamp for that as well. I would happily pay $30 a month, but committing to $99/month doesn't make sense for me, at least not right now when I am starting a new business and have zero income. Thinking of asking a few friends to buy a business account together and share the costs. Another such product is Roam! Ideas on how to fix it? Have you faced such issues with other products priced with only western customers in mind?

I have been seeing a lot of trouble with old Apple MagSafe chargers. A colleague just sent me this. After replacing the connector a few months ago. Anyone here faced similar troubles? If yes, one simple trick that will make your connectors last longer, especially old magnetic Apple chargers: Plug in, ensure a good connection, and only then turn on the switch. Avoids sparking which leads to burnt contacts and springs. This applies to other devices too (not so much to modern USB C powered stuff, I think). Any tips you guys recommend to make your devices last longer? Like the obvious one: unplug devices when the weather is bad outside (lightning / thunderstorm).
