Hey guys, my sister is looking out for jobs now after having a gap of almost 8 so years, she used to work before marriage as training manager for various banks in the field of marketing and sales. The thing is if she was in tech I would suggest her to have some projects put it in on Github and brag them about in her resume. But I don’t know much about the areas of marketing and sales and I don’t know what should I suggest her as she is worried that the gap might be an issue for her. I can send her resume too in case for better insights 🙂 also, do people hires remotely for these fields(where should she look for?) 🤷

Has anyone else faced the situation where they want to do startups on the side and they have the time to do it but unable to do anything in that time? I have the time to do so but I feel like having lots of time on the side is stopping me from getting anything done. On the other hand, if I take more freelance work, I will actually feel constrained and motivated to get a side project up in whatever time I have.

One help, I worked with a client in delivering promotional activity. Although I spoke about my per day charges early on but the only mistake I did was didn't made up a letter with both parties sign. They owe me more than 10k, what to do? P. S. I have sent them invoice and they have read that too but now no response regarding payment.
