    hello community I have an issue with settings adding the puppet release (
    puppet6-bullseye
    ): once I installed the package and run

    I’m getting

    i tried
    apt-key add DEB-GPG-KEY-puppet-20250406
    but it does not work …. I’m getting

    But also not working … Is there something broken? Or what should I do ?

    Then i found this https://github.com/puppetlabs/puppetserver-helm-chart I expected to see some kind of banner/warning that this was not for production ready setups but I can't see such message, so is this a "blessed" installation method or not?

    @rnelson0 I reworked the r10k dependencies PR to make it an explicit choice (src -> Puppetfile instead of a lockfile). https://github.com/puppetlabs/r10k/pull/1314

    and pretty much the same goes with ca_crl.pem - previously I was running "puppet certificate_revocation_list destroy crl --terminus ca" which is obsolete and I wasn't able to find anything similar in puppet 7 - only thing I found is https://tickets.puppetlabs.com/browse/SERVER-2509 which is not very convenient. Current situation:
    Copy code
    <mailto:root@puppetca7-1.infra.prod.ci|root@puppetca7-1.infra.prod.ci> /etc/puppetlabs/puppetserver/ca # wc -l ca_crl.pem
    190884 ca_crl.pem

    I have a hiera question (client and server on Puppet 7 open source). If I have hiera YAML as follows:
    Copy code
    sssd::config:
      sssd:
        domains: '<http://example.com|example.com>'
        config_file_version: 2
        services:
          - 'nss'
          - 'pam'
      'domain/example.com':
        realmd_tags: 'manages-system joined-with-adcli'
        cache_credentials: true
    Is there a way to not have to repeat
    <http://example.com|example.com>
    in the
    'domain/example.com'
    key? Thanks in advance.

    I hit this one again, wonder if it could get some attention: https://tickets.puppetlabs.com/browse/PUP-7918 The code isn't really even doing what the error says, it's actually just looking for whitespace: https://github.com/puppetlabs/puppet/blob/715612654d6c8c4439144614335646166343fe71/lib/puppet/provider/user/useradd.rb#L214-L216
