    have you ever created a new version of a module, which requires a reboot of the server? How would you do it?

    This is the long story: Starting from Ubuntu 22 the mac address associated to the vxlan (or maybe to the virtual interfaces?) is a hash based on the name of the interface. For instance, I had VXLANs associated to applications and to servers. The name was different for each application, but it was the same on all the servers. It broke, because I got the same mac address on all the servers. I found a solution (

    ), but in order to make it work, is easier to reboot the server and get rid of the old interfaces.

    What is the param in puppetdb that controls the active backend connection to the postgres if conn-keep-alive is retired. ?

    Heads up: The latest rhel8 openjdk java 11 package (11.0.20.0.8-1) is missing the tzdata-java dependency. This causes startup issues with puppetserver and puppetdb 8.x.
