03/20/2023, 2:31 PMI don’t remember what problem we had with zabbix. It might’ve been that it was too difficult to run separate configurations for different environments. But it was so long ago that any experience we had is probably irrelevant. - y

03/20/2023, 2:36 PMI guess it’s not just having the alerts. It’s also useful for us to have a status dashboard, so that people can see when an environment is ready to go. I guess we could set that up in Grafana, but it’s not really what it’s designed for, as far as I can see. - r

03/20/2023, 2:41 PMthere are alert manager dashboard type things, but generally yes unless you have say a wrapper over nagios checks that always set the same consistent status for all checks you might have to do that - y
