    where the log encoding is set simply to “%t” im not seeing where the “.” in the month format is coming from

    None! iv got a puzzling environment where a set of access logs despite being managed and encoded in the normal way is doing that

    @bastelfreak thanks for that, id checked the system locale and it was en_us but the service was indeed started a en_AU.UTF-8, you saved me pulling my hair out for 3 more hours
