11/15/2022, 6:32 PMI've been on the fence about this bolt module and wanted to hear some things on it, https://forge.puppet.com/modules/encore/patching My concerns are; - It's download count is fairly small - It's primarily managed by a MSP and it's documentation/supported OS list is fairly dated. It's a great module so far and seems to work with Ubuntu 20.04 despite some occasional quirks, I'm trying to determine whether I want to invest in it or reinvent the wheel with an ansible playbook to do the same workflow. The upside of the ansible method is It'd be easier to support in the long term and the individual modules are baked into ansible or have millions+ downloads on galaxy. What are other thoughts? I primarily don't want to back myself into a corner. - w
