Are there plans to remove / fix some of the deprecated behavior when moving to Puppet 8? For example, I wanted to use

types and I was quite disappointed to find out that didn't work and apparently can't be added without risking breaking the obviously broken (convert to string) legacy behavior.

I have a few environments where users are now really screwed up/depend on it

@josh I didn't find a PUP specifically for those, so I created one: https://tickets.puppetlabs.com/browse/PUP-11663 but there are a handful of other functions that have deprecated behavior around weird historic datatype handling that would be good (imo) to remove

Oh i had one for the "_Puppet Forge"_ office-hours: How is the wanted standard way of deprecating a puppet forge module? I ask because i only found the api documentation where the reference of deprecating a puppet forge module is noted, but maybe i missed some other forge documentation?
