08/13/2026, 4:34 PMCORS Missing Allow Origin responses when I'm trying to use RUM with a locally running app. We're able to get RUM session info from other apps that we have, including some that are just being accessed at localhost (on a different port) so I'm not sure why mine are getting denied.
The Same Origin Policy disallows reading the remote resource at <https://otel.bcstuff.dev/rum/v1/><redacted_org_id>/rum?o2source=browser&o2-api-key=<redacted>&o2-evp-origin-version=0.4.1&o2-evp-origin=browser&o2-request-id=d125145e-993a-4c32-af2a-c33779e97e29&batch_time=1786637876999&_o2.api=fetch. 08/13/2026, 4:40 PM_rumdata but when I go to view the sessions i get thisMatt Monahan

08/13/2026, 4:50 PMv0.92.0 and now the pop-up looks like thisMatt Monahan
08/13/2026, 5:04 PM_rumdata stream have session_sampled_for_replay set to false.
Whats really odd is that the POST to O2 that correlates with the startSessionReplayRecording call (after a customer inputs their phone #) is the one that fails with the CORS issue but the call that correlates with the stopSessionReplayRecording call (when the wizard resets) succeeds.
Heres a recordingMatt Monahan
08/13/2026, 5:12 PMZO_CORS_ALLOWED_ORIGINS with the specific origin I'm using I dont get the CORS issue. Id rather not set ZO_CORS_ALLOWED_ORIGINS because we want to allow all origins.
Also even with that the RUM recordings aren't actually starting 🤔Matt Monahan
