hello all since version 0.92.0 (I just upgraded to 0.92.1), the version number, commit hash and built date are no longer visible under 'about’. are you aware of this?
h
did you download binary or helm deploy? oss or ent?
can you check your browser http request of
/config
api, what is the http response?
p
I always do the manually installation via:
#For amd64-musl
curl -L -o openobserve-ee-v0.92.1-linux-amd64-musl.tar.gz <https://downloads.openobserve.ai/releases/o2-enterprise/v0.92.1/openobserve-ee-v0.92.1-linux-amd64-musl.tar.gz> && tar -xzf openobserve-ee-v0.92.1-linux-amd64-musl.tar.gz
h
got it, can you help check the
/config
api response
p
yes. if I hit run query, I didn't have a request on /config.
h
refresh page
p
ah yes, found it. hang on
ahh ok, thats no good: <html><body><h1>404 Not Found</h1> The resource could not be found. </body></html>
h
it looks something wrong.
can you check
Copy code
curl -v <http://localhost:5080/config>
run this in your server, let's see if this is a network issue.
p
information is there: {"version":"v0.92.1","instance":"7176126184768405506","commit_hash":"3f07a7de9afa831625201dae03aaa5a6e0e23112","build_date":"2026-08-14T061933Z","build_type":"enterprise", and so on....
Il do the same from a network participant
h
from local node, it works fine.
maybe need check something like proxy.
p
ok, I found an issue. from network it wors fine on the IP adress, but not on the *.local/config DNS.
I will investigate proxy and stuff. its not about O2 in this case
