When using plugin scripting (i.e multi around) and you duplicate the brush strokes it is making multiple copies per stroke instead of one. It seems to be multiplying each stroke to the N value you choose in settings. Some scripts will create even more duplicates.

I might be misunderstanding you but isn't that working correctly? If you don't want multiple copies then turn off the symmetry script. They behave the same as mirror/multimirror with regard to duplicating selections.

It was a simple copy paste of something generated with the tool. I selected the object and copy/pasted. instead of duplicating what was made, it multiplied the second by many as a single object. it was like a ball of brush strokes.
Yes - i was saying "that's correct". Anything you copy with a mirror or symmetry plugin active will try and use that symmetry logic to place multiple copies. if you only want one copy then disable the plugin.

It's not a bug. It's a feature that allows some cool stuff.
