Reopening a scene sometimes cause certain paint layer strokes not to show up. Happens just with the experimental Brushes especially after manual stroke count/Poly reduction function. PCVR (Quest 3) via Steam (airlink or cable)

Merging Painting Layers can also sometimes cause strokes to end up on the wrong layer after restarting Open Brush and reloading the scene. Or the Painting Layer name reverts to an older, previously saved name. PCVR (Quest 3) via Steam (airlink or cable)

In the Painting Layers menu, the "down arrow" below the menu is sometimes grayed out after restarting Open Brush, as if there were no additional layers (more than 7 layers). Fix/workaround: Select an individual layer first. The down arrow then becomes active again and can be used normally. PCVR (Quest 3) via Steam (airlink or cable)

Expected behavior: Undoing Clear Contents should restore the canvas to the exact state it was in immediately before Clear Contents was executed. Strokes that had previously been erased should remain erased unless the erase operation itself is undone. Undo/redo should never produce a canvas state that did not previously exist in the history. Actual behavior: After using Clear Contents and then Undo, previously erased strokes are restored. In some cases this creates a canvas state that never actually existed: for example, if a stroke is drawn, erased, and then redrawn, undoing Clear Contents restores both the erased original and the replacement stroke simultaneously. I'm using an original HTC Vive with SteamVR https://cdn.discordapp.com/attachments/1521193176474583111/1521193177225101464/OBUBsmall.mp4?ex=6a43f10b&is=6a429f8b&hm=d2ae9ac21d927a6927280d7354518af4e904f2237e0ee527814051d02daa3493&

Sometimes when I put the headset on the desk and on my head again the stroke selection (+recolor) function doesn't work anymore. It can't select anything anymore. Restart Open brush was the only workaround for this so far.

The Picker sadly is not working anymore in a complex scenen with multiple painting layers. I know I need to select the correct layer first in order to use the picker on that. But thats not working anymore. It seems that the picker can't find the correct location of the picking element. Or that it struggles with diffent layers. Merging down layers helps, but is not an option for my artwork.

Painting-Layers sometimes don't show up when loading the scene. ( just counts for the Layers which are not on page 1. The Layers up/down button is grayed out so your can't get to the additional Layers) Workaround: reload the scene helps usually.

The arrange layers up or down function seem to be disfunctional.

Waveform brushes, fairy, plasma and petal brushes do not work or look the same in viverse direct uploads from open brush. Petal brushes were missing altogether as well as waveform (maybe the emmissive values?)

I just tried out the recent steam open Brush version and ist seems that the duplicate function is broken. Whenever I duplicate something it snaps to a 90 degree angle. I already checked all snapping and grid options and they are disabled. ( I checked in Tilt Brush to compare, there is default works as it should) Any advice?

The links to login are not active buttons when exporting. Steam & Steam Link are being used.

When you select gear in the word tool to change parameters, the keyboard sits directly behind the UI panel which obscures most of the keyboard. It would be nice if we could select a different typeface as well from what we have installed on our computer.

Hi, I am aware that OpenBrush supports Logitech Pen Integration from the release notes and some guy's testimony on reddit. For the life of me, I cannot get it to register the pen as a pen and not a right controller. I have tried the following recommended troubleshooting tips already: 1) Re-Pairing Pen 2) Uninstalling and Reinstalling Open Brush 3) Changing Pressure Curve Settings The pen and the pressure sensitive tip works in other programs like Gesture VR and Logitech MX INK experience. Any help would be greatly appreciated, thanks!

I tried the latest update. This version fixes many of the bugs I mentioned earlier, and the lighting effects are beautiful. It would be even better if you could fix the problem with the coarse bristles as well. Some brush types aren't displayed perfectly; I'll update the details later. But overall, I like this version. https://cdn.discordapp.com/attachments/1478068505684217916/1478068506439454781/Recording_2026-03-02_231900_-_Trim.mp4?ex=69a70e11&is=69a5bc91&hm=04a344a4fe69aed08d441dc4b21aa49aa907f5e88046a15df3298abd1320ac9f&

When you select a sketch to open, it often selects items on the UI behind it instead of just the tilt file in the sketches menu. (ex. transform, etc).

The sketches I previously saved are no longer opening in the scene at the point of origin where they were created. With many you have to search in the scene for it and it is very small. Some do not reveal the sketch at all (or it can't be found).

When using plugin scripting (i.e multi around) and you duplicate the brush strokes it is making multiple copies per stroke instead of one. It seems to be multiplying each stroke to the N value you choose in settings. Some scripts will create even more duplicates.

_ The artwork published on Viverse works well on PC, Android, and VR (Quest 3), but cannot be viewed on iOS. _ Fog displays differently on different platforms (I tried 9% fog with the same sky color): +PC: no fog +Quest 3: fog displays strangely. It looks good up close, but brighter the further away. _ 3D model import: I published the artwork using the Beta version and imported the newglb file into another artwork. The Viverse version has many brush type errors and incorrect colors. Is there a way to maintain the quality? https://cdn.discordapp.com/attachments/1463836655701196896/1463836656166633572/7457075417053.mp4?ex=6973479f&is=6971f61f&hm=cf7ac33ff0abbc65a89f4c72e8b90280d76aad78107bdee2a28e18f3bf1616d2& https://cdn.discordapp.com/attachments/1463836655701196896/1463836656959361198/z7457074393447_7d630782c02cc6332f574b7696490e42.jpg?ex=6973479f&is=6971f61f&hm=3e8dc864bbe0702f570de53d89ae92f51b1a015a43d27519fe776845f7d24a3d& https://cdn.discordapp.com/attachments/1463836655701196896/1463836657844486356/Screenshot_2026-01-22_162230.png?ex=697347a0&is=6971f620&hm=dc520344982b48ef2b175c942a5d06e03e7520a2b74b34b13e4bbe4adeebc6e7& https://cdn.discordapp.com/attachments/1463836655701196896/1463836659345788989/khu_vuon_23.png?ex=697347a0&is=6971f620&hm=7fa4c95e9b0054a2394719e7a614b8c70116be0907738228543948caa12395c9& https://cdn.discordapp.com/attachments/1463836655701196896/1463836659924598962/z7457074383600_60ded6a12ad6ea6780ebfc422c91660f.jpg?ex=697347a0&is=6971f620&hm=a64496044918ea5299afe0ba603903b28e32ab5cd501248abf5afbf0fe09b25a&

there is a particle waveform stroke stuck in my scene. It randomly appears near me in the scene as a string of tiny glowing triangles and shimmers around - moves when i do - I cannot catch it or select it or delete it. i really like the scene and can't make it over again. when i publish it to viveverse - i can see where the waveform stroke is drawn but when I go there in the sketch, I can't see it. I tried saving as a new file and of course it just went along. is there any way to get rid of this thing?

I tested all Open Brush brushes (Beta version) when publishing them to Viverse. I found several bugs: _Pinched Marker lost its pointed tip, becoming a square tip. _Pinched Flat lost its pointed tip, becoming a square tip. _Toon lost its outline. _Coarse Bristles have extra pixels around the brush edges, making the brush combinations look grainy. Other brushes display perfectly.

When using a mirror, freehand brush shape may be symmetrical or asymmetrical. Using the Wond Stroke Guide ensures 100% symmetry. I want 100% symmetry even when drawing freehand. https://cdn.discordapp.com/attachments/1451621379970699446/1451621380981395558/5a3daec2df409301.mp4?ex=6946d743&is=694585c3&hm=bf7315a3593521ff8d91e2bcb7f0a433a9aa417c60d054b86c7ad9c7eb9a7148&

It might not be a bug, but it seems like LAZY Input has become significantly slower compared to before. I'd really appreciate it if you could make it adjustable in the settings.

Right before I recorded this when I tried to go left or right a couple of times when selecting and it won’t budge almost as if it was stuck. Might be a bug or the performance is not that stable. This is on the Meta Quest 3S https://cdn.discordapp.com/attachments/1446566339664679022/1446566340243619850/d75d6cce9f264aac9458962958f9d9e8.mov?ex=6940f9a3&is=693fa823&hm=fcf3dfcb5bd432ef2617836a8c1e200108fdf6033851e163dfbdc1f04102219e&

When you extend the last frame then try to shorten it new frames that I did not make appear. This keeps or stops me from continuing. https://cdn.discordapp.com/attachments/1446557798837129358/1446557799449628714/178fbc6265a24efb8917a0698cebb952.mov?ex=6940f1af&is=693fa02f&hm=a323872f9c2837f83606e3e2cd0a2d7144ab02724cf9a52ea189ce21c996cfd5&

I replaced my joysticks on my Quest 2, and now I can't change brush size or turn the menu. This is the only app that's having problems. It's doing it in Steam or in Oculus Link.

Hi everyone! I cant directly save video created with camera on meta quest 3. I’m trying to export a scene from Open Brush into Blender, keeping both the animated brush strokes and the camera path — but I can’t get it to work properly. Here’s what I’ve done so far: Exported my sketch as .gltf with Sketach Fab Imported the .gltf into Blender — the geometry shows up fine and the texturing is on without stroke effects. I couldnt finte the camera_path file, but I’m not sure how to correctly import or align it to match the scene. Does anyone know the proper workflow or script to import both the stroke animation and camera path correctly into Blender?

GLBS are not importing into unity 2022.3.22.f1 and I get the paper icon on import, Using the latest version of open brush and the latest toolkit

Model shows in the reference image library, but does not show when inserted into the workspace. Not an issue for videos and images. version 21.10.34
