I have been running a number of nf-core pipelines. I noticed even after running
nextflow clean -f
that (sometimes) the work dir is still large > 50 GB in some cases. Does anyone know why this might be the case ?
a
Is it possibly removing all runs except the latest?
t
could be the case or cleaning only latest run and not prior runs
will have to look into it more
It looks like the
nextflow clean -f
only cleans the latest run.
nextflow clean -f -before RUN_NAME
will clean all runs before
RUN_NAME
and
nextflow clean -f -after RUN_NAME
will clean all runs after
RUN_NAME

One other thing to keep in mind --
nextflow clean
needs the history (in
.nextflow
), so if that got deleted/corrupted, it won't be able identify the affected runs.
