Is there a reason why the date format is forced to American? My device and browser have my local date format

I think it's basically because they Pioneer the internet they were the early guys coding and laying down the foundations of the internet. That's just my guess though

The app could use any format they want though. ISO dates would be better imo

We've decided to have an explicit date format for SEO purposes but we could definitely change it for logged in users based on their preferences.

For logged in users we can probably detect the browser location and change up formatting based on which region they are from
