I like these things about water: * more padding in buttons (and chips) * slightly larger default font sizes (I'm old) * slightly more padding in general (maybe increase the default missing density by a few decimal points?) * subtle striping on tables (controvercail, I admit, but I like it)

dislike the lack of borders (although missing has borders that are a bit strong in some cases I think) and the lack of components in general

missing is designed to scale up in a way that water isn't, so more ambitious

I'm just reading thru the docs and haven't use missing.css but from what I read this css feels like bootstrap if bootstrap created now instead years ago. Am I right?

It’s a different in that it is designed to make “naked” html look decent but then, yes, it provides tools on top of that. Not nearly as many as bootstrap though.

Some people call these "class-light stylesheets": https://github.com/dbohdan/classless-css#class-light (btw, @gorgeous-airport-54386, now that 1.0 is out, shouldn't it be submitted there?)
