are the tests currently failing? I'm seeing errors in hx-sse and hx-ws, but I remember you saying that those were going to get broken out

    I'll add docs for this

let me know if you want me to pull out the ;'s
  • h
my editor yells at me about them
  • m
Yep tests are a bit broken

How do you build the docs?
  • h
I just had to add blind
  • g
    Copy code
    bash
cd www; npx @11ty/eleventy # build
cd www; npx @11ty/eleventy --serve & firefox http://localhost:8080 # live preview

Wondering out loud whether https://animate.style would be an easy way to add some razzle dazzle to demos.

Nice - now if only it would wait for you to try and click on a link and then jump the page to a different link.

i struggle between keeping the demos as basic as possible to show the concepts and making them look cool/nice
  • h
oh just do what tailwind did and charge for the nice looking ones
  • b
Fair enough. (think I dodged a bullet there)
  • h
I think I found a wierd error? if you send a fragment from the server with only oob on it
  • h
    is that supported?
  • m
    should be
  • p
general heads-up. hx-include with a textarea requires the identifier to be the name, not the id.

Hi 🙂 I suspect this might be outside the scope of htmx but is it possible to have a trigger fire without an endpoint configured? I'd like to write an extension that reacts to a clicked trigger but if you just have a hx-trigger set with no hx-get or whatever, no event is fired as best as I can tell. The 'right approach' might be to use Alpine but if I could just have one JS library, that'd be preferable for my use case.

    Does vanilla
    onclick
    not work?
  • w
In this case, I was curious about taking advantage of the trigger modifiers but yeah, maybe just doing that myself with
    onclick
is the way to go. Thanks @bland-coat-6833 🙂
