To this is say: Boom!💥

But to this I say 👇 You go boiiii!

👏

no fun title this week https://thisweek.htmx.org/issue/6/

now, i'm going to bed

does anybody know of a good forum or QA for htmx?

reddit? Stackoverflow? github? Quora?

I find discord impossible to follow, if one day I don't come here I don't understand the conversation and all knowledge is lost here 😫

ideas= suggestions?

we tried using a disquss discussion forum, but it was shut down due to inactivity 😑

lets try this

I can't find documentation on HX-Retarget, Is it there and I'm overlooking it?

Hi all. I have a long running XHR request, triggered by htmx, with

hx-push-url="true"

. If this request is in-flight and I navigate to another page via a boosted link, I'm seeing the URL pushed from the previous long running request, after it completes. Should clicking on a boosted link cancel all pending requests from the previous page beforehand? Great work on htmx btw. I love it. Thank you!

For those using Alpine.js you can now take advantage of the brand new Alpine morph plugin through an htmx extension https://github.com/bigskysoftware/htmx/pull/673. This makes it possible to seamlessly retain Alpine component state client-side.

that's a pitty. Maybe github wasnt the best place... I don't know. What does the community think?

@User has been pushing for clarity around where to communicate around what. Thomas, what do you think about the following rule: * Discord is the main chat * When an issue is solved in discord, if it is sufficiently complex or commonly asked, it should be moved to Github discussions * When an issue is solved on StackOverflow (I still haven't figured out how to follow it over there) it should be referenced in Github discussions * Discussions should be used for questions rather than Github issues (I am going to move some over) I'm so-so on the format of Github discussions, but it's there, it's free, they won't take it away and it integrates with the rest of the github stuff we use (including email notifications.)

Wait why do we need a discussion for solved issues?

I don't understand what you mean by this. Discord keeps history basically forever, so nothing is "lost". Anything being discussed here may or may not lead to an issue or pull request being created on the github repo. Anything that doesn't lead to that, is probably not worth having a long-term discussion on.

This is an example of something that probably should become an issue

lost means that if in 6 months i have a doubt, I can't google discord

all the conversation is not organized

In discord it is nearly impossible to find those answers. They’re in there, but they aren’t organized or findable.

All the knowledge here is lost, while in a forum, SO or github you have it there

that's what I mean

I'm having a hard time understanding what sort of answers you're referring to. Could you maybe give me an example?

here is full of questions like: "how to do..." or "I have this problem.."

THose type

i remember seeing a bot that can archive discord chats
