nope, but an svg would be wonderful if you have the skils and time

I'll look into it; I've never made an SVG "by hand" before. I'll see what I can come up with, though; I imagine it's not a fresh trail I'd be blazing. 🙂

48 point text (3rem) - what do you think?

I used the colors from the site - 333333 for the main text, 3465a4 for the blue.

Should I make it bigger?

Maybe. I like it a little bolder and maybe more tightly packed. Here is how the website renders:

I'll play with it (likely tomorrow) and see if I can make it nicer. Part of it is that I use two different computers (Windows and Ubuntu), and since the site uses the native font stack, it looks different in each place! Your snapshot above, though, gives me a target to replicate. (I should probably also make light and dark variants.)

thank you so much, I am sure this is a complete pain (which is why I have never done it)

If it's too much work, no worries

@User @User I hope I'm not stepping on anyone's toes here, but I had a few minutes to spare, so I decided to lend a hand with the HTMX logo. In the website, I could see 3 colours being used throughout the stylesheet: • htmx-black: #333333 • htmx-white: #F5F5F5 • htmx-blue: #3D72D7 So, the artwork was created using these 'official' colours. I traced the logo, so we ended up with pure vector shapes - no font needed, and this also means the logo can now be proportionately scaled without needing to worry about having to re-typeset it. Finished versions of the artwork were created, for use in different situations: - logomark-only versions - just the "" ideogram - full logo versions - which include the logomark+logotype Both logomark-only and full-logo versions were created in: - black on transparent background - white on transparent background - black on white background - white on black background Different versions will be needed on different situations. On the HTMX website hero banner, for example, the logo is displayed against a dark gradient background - so we'll need the 'white on transparent background'. I've also used "RealFaviconGenerator' to generate a set of suitable favicons, for all platforms, which are included - along with instructions on how to install them on the site - have a look at the 'readme' file in side the 'favicons' folder. I hope this helps!

holy smokes

great looking!

You also have PNG versions, in case you need to use it in places where you can't use the SVG ones - eg., social media profile avatars...

I hate to even ask, but since this is hand drawn would it be possible to make the / the samme thickness as the <>?

it's always bothered me that it is a completely different thickness than the rest of the logo...

Sure, give me a few minutes 👍

Here you go, @User!

IMHO it does look more balanced with the slightly thicker slash.

This looks great to me! What do other people think?

thank you @User !

I only come by sporadically to keep an eye on the project until I have a good chance to use it again, but that looks pretty good.

What's the best way to have an input clear itself when sending using hx-ws? Trying to make a simple chat input

You could listen for the events that htmx fires when the request completer. _hyperscript is really good for this.

You might also just have your server replace the original input with a new control.

It depends on how much you want to do on the server vs. the client. I think I’d try the hyperscript route first.

I'd like to integrate these images into the site. @User do you have any interest in this?
