    I mentioned this project a few weeks back on this channel. I think they arrived to the very same realization that HTMX users have... most SPAs don't have so many dynamic things happening, so rendering the HTML on the serve is a better option

    the website doesn't give a lot of technical info and a lot of what it does give I don't understand, so I'll have to wait a bit to see what they are really doing. seems hotwire-ish maybe?

    They are doing progressive enhancement with very smart compiling to just ship the minimum JS where it's needed. Everything else is rendered on the server.

    So if the make a page with a 
    <form>
    that's just rendered on the server but if the change the tag to 
    <Form>
    that's actually a react component and only that page pays the price of the client side JS

    the server logic is not changed and it would work on both cases
