    i have seen situations where police had to get very firm and rough.... of course, I expect it when actually resisting. I didn't have those bruises for too long.

    i have respect for the police in general.... man they deal with some mess here.... but i would be lying if i said I didn't see issues and corruption first hand over the past 25 years.

    in the UK, always nice a friendly, you comply because they are "decent"... in spain, it depends... ive been handcuffed and punched in the head "ves lo q pasa quado no me escuchas"

    i'm the same way.... police being nice i stay nice..... its those few times when officers had bad attitudes for no reason i would just well.... a couple nights rest in the local iron inn.

    yeah, im not "fuck the police" (at all), they have also been a huge help to me on various occasions (in spain too)... its "fuck those specific police"

    there is an imbalance (it seems), has it gone too far and been hijacked by corporates and wanna be freedom fighters? Likely, but it doesnt mean the imbalance isnt there

    I firsthand watched a stabbing happen, and watched and listened as the police officer told the man with the knife to leave.
