    Yeah, I kind of think it's normal. I 'm sure there were many other tribes that were just erased culturally so that they don't even have a mention.

    i think the welsh got a really bum deal though... very recently too with the whole "maggie thatcher" and coal mine shafting (pun somewhat intended)

    Also, it's not that the original people were Welsh, it's that the original people (Brythonic people) are the ancestors of the Welsh (+ Cornish, Breton...)

    im technically English (born there), never really lived there - grew up in the middle east, spain, gibralter - parents are Irish - live in Malta (and before BCN)... so id like to gracefully dissolve myself of any ancestral blame 🤣

    i think there are a few places "i get it": * when insane generational weath is built up because of some type of "cuntishness" * when said cuntishness leads to a type of modern cultural "issue"
