    Fun fact.. I tried to learn emacs and after 2 hours of coding I realized syntax highlighting was off...

    ye... I actually zoom in like crazy the width of my editor is 40 colums...

    I'm not modifying the css of sites i visit in any way.. aside from the make things dark extension

    i'm a VSCode and occasional Vim user (my day job is in TypeScript & Ruby)... it takes a bit but once you get your dotfiles where you want them with (neo)vim/(space)emacs/ed(?)... it is akin to Settings Sync with VSCode and just 1 time download... but yes... getting things just right sometimes in emacs/vim is... not great
