I'm having trouble with optionboxes, basically radio buttons by another name I believe. I can get them to work in vbox or group but I cannot get the binding to work correctly. I tried initially to just bind to each individual optionbox as though it were a checkbox. That didn't produce any compilation errors but the initial values weren't passed to the code. I tried using a group and I get an event but I don't know how to set the initial value so initially no box is checked. If I add a selected="true" to one of them then I get an error about assigning a boolean to :

Uncaught exception: Can't cast bool to enum<haxe.ui.util.VariantType>

I cannot find any examples that show a simple binding to code. I looked at the guides and noticed (what I'd seen before) most are empty notably in this case the binding one. This is in the github source tree. They don't by any chance exist somewhere do they ?

Ah ok - found the issue I think. I had multiple sets of optionboxes and did not have componentGroup attrs set so different options which I thought were separate were interfering with each other.

hmmm, this still doesnt sound right... feels like a bug... a) you shouldnt have to set the componentGroup and b) you certainly shouldnt have to set it to stop options stop intefering with each other

actually, b might not be true, i might be misunderstanding. But either way, nothing you described should end an error... can you paste some code when you have 5 mins... id like to find out / understand what the issue is
