    it's literally just vscode and the haxe language server not recognizing the imports

    I really think this is the problem but the only solution anyone's seen for this is that it goes away on its own sometimes

    completely fresh version of an openfl project getting these errors is normal

    you need to compile the project as haxe can't read a 
    .xml

    once a project has been compiled and the active configuration is set equal to the compiled one a 
    hxml
    can be found
