open sidebar, click -> dropdown bar gets set to "opened" state but doesn't open dropdown, click again -> dropdown bar in "focused" state, click again -> dropdown opens successfully

I aspire to have a long term commitment to a project one day like Ian does to HaxeUI

I wish I had the same amount of commitment to anything as Ian does to HaxeUI

i think my commitment is that other people use it, otherwise its irrelevant (although i would still use it)

i found haxe went "what the fuck??" then went "what can i do with it", that lead to openfl, that lead to "oh, right, this is why its not serious", that lead to "can we make it serious"

You've found a project that you seem to enjoy working on and you can regularly see how useful it is for others :o

thats kind, i like to think so, but who knows. More exposure for haxe was my initial intention... and that you "can do anything"

and if were talking about making haxe "no game", then yeah, im working with a number of companies who are evaluating haxe for the infrastructure projects

I think haxe definitely has the potential for that (professional non game uses)

maybe just held back by being a bit small

there are fundamental issues, i wont go into them here, ive opened tickets - but it stops wider adoption, or at least makes it easy to say "ah, haxe, the game lang that no one cares about"

or come up with a killer non game app with haxe ourselves
